25 Sep What’s Included in a Stay at Can Caponet? Here’s How We Work

We occasionally get enquiries from couples looking for a whole farmhouse to rent for a celebration, or a self-catering space where they can cook for themselves. So we’d rather be upfront from the start: Can Caponet is not a whole-house rental. We’re a small rural bed & breakfast — accommodation with breakfast included, plus the option to book dinner on Saturdays — designed so you can simply arrive, unwind, and not worry about anything else.

How a stay with us actually works

Accommodation and breakfast included Each room or cabin is private, but breakfast is served together in the farmhouse dining room or on the terrace, at separate tables, with plenty of produce from our own vegetable garden. It’s one of our guests’ favourite moments: hot coffee, quiet mornings, and the forest right outside.

Saturday dinner, by prior booking On Saturdays we open the kitchen for dinner, always by advance reservation. It isn’t a restaurant open every day, but rather a meal designed so that, if you’re staying with us that night, you don’t need to go out looking for somewhere to eat. We recommend booking it at the same time as your room, as spaces are limited.

The rest of the week For lunch or dinner on other days, we’re happy to recommend restaurants and local spots that we visit ourselves and that match the relaxed spirit of the stay — just ask us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Why we work this way, rather than as a whole-house rental

We want Can Caponet to be a place for genuine disconnection, without the logistics of organising everything yourselves (shopping, cooking, cleaning…). In fact, it’s the opposite of a whole-house rural rental built for large groups or celebrations: here, the focus is on you, as a couple, in a small and peaceful setting.

If what you’re after is a whole farmhouse for a party, a wedding, or a large group celebration, we’re honestly not the right place. But if what you’re looking for is an intimate getaway less than 30 minutes from Barcelona, with nothing to cook and nothing to carry but your bag, that’s exactly what we offer. Basically, a romantic getaway and a chance to unplug-within everyone’s reach. It also makes a great gift.
